Hello,

The main goal of building this computer is that I need something to work "well" with Adobe After Effects, I don't know so much things in hardwares, so that's why I'm asking this here, I think I'll need as much RAM as possible, I don't need any SSD, I do need a 3TO HD. I'll choose the case by myself, someone have any idea ? Someone know After Effects well and can give me some tips ? Thank you

  • Approximate Purchase Date: 30 June

Budget Range: 1100€ without shipping costs

System Usage from Most to Least Important: After Effects

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: No

    Parts Preferences: Intel, RAM

    Overclocking: No

    SLI or Crossfire: No

Additional Comments: I don't need fast hard drives for After Effects as it's all rendered in RAM - there is no real-time playback. After Effects really flies with lots of RAM.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Need to work with AE

    Keyboard / Mouse / Monitor : No / No / No

Where are you living? Country I mean?
Depend a lot where you plan to buy.
Here is good store if it ships to your country.
Here is 16GB memory: http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/info/p798853_16GB-Crucial-Ballistix-Sport-DDR3-1600-DIMM-CL9-Dual-Kit.html
Take two if you need.

That is maybe best comes in my mind rigth now.
If you want something special let me know I make other build if there is something to make better.

Hello thank you very much for this, I'm going to buy it from a french online store, I think, it seems to be the same price.
So what I've to say after seeing this is that I don't really need a SSD so you can completly remove it, 3TO HardDrive seems ok, for the motherboard, do I really need to buy one with this price ? I don't plan to OC or upgrade my PC.. For the Thermalright is there anything that cost less ? Because I really want to put the biggest part of my budget on RAM.

Linking to a site in Germany won't help an OP who is in France. That's what the database I created is for.

I'll use this website: http://www.sabmegastore.com/

Try a build like this:

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus - € 77.68
PSU: Corsair TX650 V2 - € 91.05
Motherboard: Asus H87 Plus - € 91.89
CPU: 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7-4770 - € 309.90
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 1.5V - € 74.90
HD: 3TB Western Digital Caviar Red - € 152.90
Optical: Lite On Bulk DVD Burner - € 24.90
Video Card: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 660 - € 200.90

Total: € 1,075.20

Clerly you do know much about EU or where we can order parts. Frpm Italy has been ordered parts from HW versand and store is Germany. Maybe Frace is cheper and we all EU people need to order from there parts :) Same money and no taxes :) We can order anywere we can have better price. :)
This store delivers to Frace too. https://www.hardwareversand.de/home.jsp
And your PSU is crap. This is much better:

HAF 912 is not a good case. WD caviar red is used in servers and nas.
WD Blue is better. Or seagate barracuda. No point to take 4770 and H motherboard.
Seagate 3 TB drive cost normal about 100 €

Much cheaper is take Intel xeon 1230V3 and cheap motherboard.

Well I'm in the US, but it's been my knowledge that ordering from one country and having it shipped to another would incur high shipping charges, as well as customs fees and taxes associated with importing goods, would it not?

I live in California, but I've ordered stuff from Canada, Japan, and the UK, and when you import goods into the US we usually get hit with customs fees and taxes. I would think the same would apply to most EU, countries, no?

And your PSU is crap. This is much better:
https://www.hardwareversand.de/500+-+600+Watts/41093/Su...

The Corsair TX650 is made by Seasonic, I don't see how a generic Super Flower unit is that much better. Plus the link doesn't work.

It is better. Super Flower Golden Green and Golden King are maybe best PSU in market.

I can show you how bad that HX is? 3% RMA in mindfactory.
http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/info/p721358_650-Watt-Corsair-TX-Series-Non-Modular-80--Bronze.html
And other this has 5% RMA senbacks. Good I think NOT.: http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/info/p753671_650-Watt-Corsair-TX-Series-Modular-80--Bronze.html

If you look super flower golden green is do have 1% and much more sold units. How come?
Because they do quality product. But you cant understand this do you:)

For 87 € gold label 650w PSU that do have 5 year warranty.
http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/info/p680755_650-Watt-Super-Flower-Golden-Green-PRO-Non-Modular-80--Gold.html

And 600w modular gold one 99 € 1% RMA send backs.
http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/info/p643262_600-Watt-Super-Flower-Golden-Green-Modular-80--Gold.html

550w 1100 sold units and RMA is 1%
http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/info/p688894_550-Watt-Super-Flower-Golden-Green-PRO-Non-Modular-80--Gold.html
1% is 11 psu that did not work so user did sen tha PSU to store.
Super Flower did have one bad batch, and all of these are faulty on this one batch of.

And then CORSAIR PSU how come only seasonic makes them? This shows something else.
Here clearly shows that seasonic is not only maker of corsair PSU . How come you do not even read toms hardware articles before suggestion something?

Not in EU area. We in EU can order in any shop that ships to country where you live. Only thing you pay is shipping costs. Also warranty can be handle in your own country if product do have importer or dealer in your own country. It need to take care the product. No matter where you did buy it from. This is in EU law.
