BIOS issue help

hello i just got a new system today, first time. im trying to download the cd it came with the mother board is a asus p8z77-vlk, its saying insert formatted floppy disk to a, i don't have one, i went into advanced bios and put my dvd/cd to boot first help plssss

do i need to install windows 7before the cd/drivers motherboard came with?
