So, with the new consoles coming out the graphics are going to increase in current PC games. I saw the bf4 and cod ghosts gameplay and those graphics look pretty heavy. My question is will my 650m be able to run bf4 and Cod ghosts on at least medium (dont need anti aliasing and stuff) at somewhere around 45-60 fps. Now i know this is early to tell but i was hoping that some of you understood the power of the 650m and the new graphics more than i do. Thanks.

Specs:
Alienware m14x
intel core i7-3740 qm at 2.7 ghz (turbo boost 2.0 to 3.7 ghz)
2 gb nvidia 650m
16gb of ram

Also, the graphics card can not be upgraded. I have done some research and found external graphics cards. What are your opinions on that if the 650m isnt powerful enough.

It averaged 42 fps on medium settings in bf3 on the benchmark I saw, so chances are that it will not give you 45 fps in bf4. I have no idea what the graphics will be like for cod: ghosts, but chances are that it will be playable at medium settings.

But usually the processors aren't as good on the benchmarks. But anyway I can see that. Are there any options to boost fps without replacing the gpu?

Other than lowering settings, I'm not too sure. I don't have any experience with mobile gpu's, but you might want to research mobile gpu overclocking. I'm not sure it's even possible, or whether it would help very much, but who knows...
