So i have a full package with windows 7 ultimate and the disc and so on. But I bought this desktop with Home Premium on it and I want to upgrade to ultimate. So i bought a new hard drive and wiped it and created a new partition with max blast. But Windows wont let me install Ultimate. It says missing drivers. HELP! When I try to boot it up it just says NTLDR is missing ctr alt dlt to restart. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

With the "NTLDR is missing ctr alt dlt to restart" you've corrupted/damaged the boot file, from what I'm reading.

Before doing what I showed below, take a peek at this video, it might help, might not. Just trying to help a fellow PC user! :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5ZWjph7-HM

Try updating the current version you have etc, you could also try getting another small hard drive and installing the ultimate to that and then formatting the other HDD.

Good luck & keep me posted!
