Possible problem with GTX 670

Hi guys,
I think my 670 isn't performing as it should be. In Heaven 4.0 Extreme preset i get a score of 1077 which i think is normal but in Company of Heroes 2 when i run the benchmark on max setting i get an average of 26.5fps, which is exactly the same as my brother's 660ti. I was wondering if there is a problem with my card.

Specs are the following:
-Asrock p67 extreme4
-inte I5 2500k @3.3
-Gtx 670 (windforce)
-corsair tx650w

I will try running heaven 4.0 extreme on my gtx670 as well and let you know what the score is.

Its either driver issue or you need to overclock your cpu. Altho even at stock settings, your i5 2500k is pretty capable.

your scores seem pretty normal to me since my gtx670 is highly overclocked 1346/7150

Maybe your brother has a factory overclocked model of the gtx660 ti. Compare his clocks(core and memory) with yours. gtx660 ti is a 192bit version of the gtx670 so the difference should be marginal.

Also download the latest 320.18 drivers from Nvidia http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

that's only if you are changing your graphic card either from amd to nvidia or nvidia to amd. Installing the new nvidia driver would automatically remove the older one. Just make sure you choose correct OS, bits of your operating system(64bits or 32bits) when you search for drivers or use auto detect.

320.18 should make a difference.

After I installed the new drivers the things improved a bit. My Heaven score is 1093 now. Something i noticed is the while playing coh 2 my frames are 55 and my gpu is at 50% load. Do you have any suggestions of how to solve that?

either the game isn't well optimised for nvidia or you need to overclock your cpu to at least 4.2ghz.

Since you have the unlocked k model of i5 2500k, overclocking shouldn't be a problem at all.

However like I said before, your cpu is good enough even at stock settings, so make sure you have direct x11 enabled in game. Low gpu usage usually occurs when dx11 is not forced. So go to in game settings and activate direct x11.
