I have just moved into a new house and am going to install a home server, gigabit switch and a gigabit router. I will also be wiring every room with gigabit Ethernet ports. My question is are there any devices out there that can be plugged into these Ethernet ports that will convert it into a wireless signal (Preferably gigabit and wireless N). Any help would be much appreciated.

So would that mean that I would have to buy a wireless router for every room that I wanted this feature to be available? I was looking at the ASUS RT-N66U as a possible primary router but do you have any recommendations for the secondary routers?

Unless your walls are lined with lead, one wireless router should cover your house. That ASUS has wireless capabilities.
TBH, I'm not all that familiar with networking equipment, and what I have been looking into is combined Modem/Router's. So I'm not too clued in to which brand and particular units to go for.
