Intel HD 3000 graphics vs 7970

Ive been looking on the interwebs for a comparison of the two ( I know 99% of all discrete graphics cards can blow integrated 3000 away ) I want to compare the two mainly to hype myself. My rusty HP laptop has been letting me down lately so I kinda need this comparison to keep me going until August. Thats when I'll place the order for my parts and start building my pc. so can you guys tell me, how much of a difference will i notice between integrated graphics 3000, and a sapphire 7970 ghz edition?

Let's just put it this way. Integrated graphics can barely play most games on the lowest settings, while the 7970 can max everything currently out.

The Intel HD 3000 is more or less the equivalent of the Radeon HD 5450, but without DX11 support.

True, but 60+ fps on max setting on crysis 3 is a lot to ask for.

This should satisfy your curiosity. The Intel HD 3000 is not listed, but the more powerful (by ~ 35%) Intel HD 4000 is.

Lol... That benchmark is not very accurate... A 660TI faster then a 7970? Something went very wrong.

Especially since crysis 3 is optimized for amd gpu's.
