Does a 660 use same connectors as 770?

Hello,

I bought a PC from a website that allowed me to choose what I wanted inside it (PCspecialist)

I don't know much about putting computers together so I just wanted to make sure that if I bought a gtx 770 as an upgrade from gtx 660, I would have the right connectors? It says I need a 8 pin and a 6 pin connector, does my 660 already have that so I can just plug in the 770 to the motherboard and attach the connectors that the old 660 was using? Or will the connectors come in the box? I'm sorry I have no idea about PC parts :<

Much appreciated

No, the 660 uses 1 PCIe power connector. You'll have to dig through the spare cables from the PSU you have to see if it has a 2nd cable w/6/8 pin connector. If it is a good quality PSU, it will have it.

I didn't get any spare cables with the PSU as I bought it already in the case, will the Graphics card not already come with the connectors in the box? My PSU is 650watt 80 plus bronze ~

Is your PSU of modular design? If not, it probably has the unused cables folded up somewhere inside the case. Don't be afraid to open the case and look around.
If it is modular and they didn't provide the spare cables to plug in as needed, the card will come with at least 1 Molex to PCIe adapter that you can use to connect to 1 or 2 Molex connectors for the extra power. The PSU will surely have extra Molex available.

I had a look inside my PC and I found two 6 pin connectors and a few of them molex ones, but I know what you mean now! Thanks so much for the help, I appreciate it greatly! :)
