Get a better PSU. On that budget there's no reason to get a Corsair CX. This would be a far better choice: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/750w-psu-xfx-p1-750s-nlb9-85-eff-80-plus-bronze-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-quiet-fan-atx

Yes I would also go with the aforementioned GTX 770. Maybe get something like this:

The GTX670 is around £70 cheaper than and GTX770 on scan.co.uk. Is it worth spending the extra £70 on the newer card? Also, if i did go for the GTX770, would it be worth getting a MSI Gaming version so that I can use the VGA boost feature on the MSI motherboard for the extra performance it claims to give?

I think it would be worth it, as the 770's performance at stock speeds is about 20% better than the 680's, and overclocks well, also. I don't know anything about the vga boost feature, but it doesn't really seem to be worth the extra $ for the gaming edition. I would buy the evga gtx 770 with the acx cooler, but if you want to spend more on the msi lightning or gaming editions, that's fine.

Ok, I have decided to go with the MSI gtx770. I've also decided to switch the hard drive to WD Black 750gb. Do the rest of the components look fine to go with?

Yeah that should be fine. But definitely get a better PSU.
