2 x WD Green 2TB in Raid 0

i have a gaming computer with a SSD but have all my games on a HDD but it is a WD Green but its a bit slow and i have a spare the same. So i am wondering if i put them in raid 0 will this help. From what i know about raid it will on paper but will it in real live is another thing ???? can someone help me

Personally I would just keep the single WD green, If you are running your OS on your SSD and your games are on a separate drive I don't see the point. Your probably better off saving that money and putting it into another part of your system.

Green drives are not meant to be raided even though many people are successful. If you choose to proceed then you must be diligent with performing backups; if one drive fails then data on both drives are lost. Green drives have a setting in them that sometimes causes them to drop out of raid just as a defective drive would. You need to prepare for this also so you can get back up quickly. Without a good backup, you'd have to reinstall everything.
