Advice required for building a new desktop PC with i7-4770K processor

I am building a new desktop PC with the new Haswell i7-4770k processor.

I am a software programmer and regular gamer too.

My new PC needs to function primarily for gaming & running multiple programs at the same time, like high end games, .Net applications, photoshop, databases,...etc
Secondly I won't be upgrading it further for atleast 3 years

I went through loads of articles reviewing the motherboards, graphic cards, RAMS, ... and various computer components required to build a new PC.

I am confused as to which components will go well together when finally bundled.

Not sure here whether to go with SLI/Crossfire or just single GPU?

Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3 GB GDDR5

Power Supply
Cooler Master Silent Pro Platinum 1000W
Cooler Master Silent Pro Hybrid 1300W


Chassis
Cooler Master Cosmos II Black
or any other?

U can go with best choice.
1. Mobo- Asus z87 pro
Or
Gigabyte z87x ud4h
These two mobos are best than others.
2. G. Skill or corsair vengeince 2133 MHz 32gb.
3. Nvidia gtx 780 is better choice bcs it is new technology.
4.corsair HX 650w-750w is enough if u r not going to sli.
5. CM Storm Stryker is also a better choice.
6. If u r going to decent oc then go with h100i CPU cooler. Otherwise u can go for hyper evo 212 is enough.
7. SSD is also a most important part of a pc. So go with Samsung 840pro series least 120gb.

In most chances ram 16gb is more than enough 1600mhz. For a decent OCing 2133mhz 16gb is much more too. Then why are u choosing 32gb...?

The applications and programs which i run are more memory hungry and i would be multitasking those hence i thought 32 GB would suffice

I was planning for a 2 way SLI. Regarding the chassis "CM Storm Stryker" i could not find it on well known shopping sites is this the latest one

It is not latest but some months ago it came. It is really a great option I personally used and it has plenty of space fir 3 or 4 way sli. No problem.
For 2 way sli HX 850w is enough.

Onething more you will get profit of warranty of your parts too if you pick from your local city.

Frankly speaking i have less than 2 weeks to built one.

Or you can get phone no. of Delhi or Goa main wholesaler of pc parts. You will get everything. Every part which comes in India first it comes Goa then supply the whole states.

really there is not availeble yet.....? Thats very bad. did u try in delhi too...?

H100i is better. Because it takes small space on mobo and its cooling and life is really better than others.

You can fit 2 radiators in cosmos 2. 1 is upper side of case removing all fans and 1 downside after removing fans and hard drive cages.

finally the Goa wholesaler got back stating that the products might be available by coming Monday.

Also, one more thing, is the liquid cooling setup safe to try in India with system pump and reservoir? as you know in mumbai the power fluctuations are more and the supply isn't stable.

1. Congrats.....
2. Only for cpu cooling water cooling is good in india. Not for whole system. Just buy a water cooler solution for only your cpu. For other parts air cooling is best in india.
