black screen after installing new graphic card - radeon HD7870

is ASUS P8H67-I and radeon hd 7870 compatible? my old card is cyclone r6850, i am upgrading amd to amd. after i plug everything in, there is no respond from my monitors, it is just black. the radeon hd 7870 fan is powered on. i checked the monitors' power is on, tried to switch around dvi/hdmi cables, duel to single monitor, and i just couldnt figure out whats the problem.

processor: i5-3570k
ram: 4gb
os: win7 64it
psu: corsair tx650m

have u plugged in the two 6-pin pci-e connectors?

there is only 1 6pin which can be connected, and a 2pin attached that i did not try connect to the graphic card

a hd7870 requires two 6-pin pci-e connectors and do u have two 6-pin pcie connecters?i think you have.Try searching it it and plug the another 6-pin to ur gpu....
