Do cpu's come with thermal paste pre-applied?

I just ordered a amd FX-6300 3.5ghz black edition cpu and I was wondering if the cpu or the fan comes with thermal paste pre-applied or do I have to use my Artic silver 5 thermal paste and do it manually?

The stock CPU cooler comes with it.

Better stuff can be applied if you try to OC.

The stock cooler has some pre-applied.
Using AS5 will get you better results than the stock paste though. Though its kind of a waste to buy a $7 tube of paste and use the stock heatsink, would get far better results spending $20 to get a 212 EVO (And the paste that comes with it).
