Hello world.

So this is my first time building any computer, ever. I want a gaming rig that can run all the latest big-budget flashy games on Ultra, but since I'm a complete noob, I'm not really sure I've got the right idea.

I don't exactly have loads of knowledge when it comes to different parts, so I'm looking for opinions on the stuff I want to put into my rig. Is the component good quality (i.e. not gonna break after 2 weeks)? Is it high spec enough? Is anything gonna bottleneck the whole system? Is some part ridiculously overpriced or is there another substitute that gives same performance for cheaper (or a big boost for a small price increase)? Or any other advice you'd be kind enough to give.

Here are the parts I plan to use in my computer:
Intel i7 3770 CPU:

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H Mobo:
http://
Corsair Vengeance 2x 4Gb RAM:
http://
EVGA Geforce GTX 670 FTW GPU:
http://
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB HDD:
http://
Samsung 840 PRO 128GB SDD:
http://
Corsair GS700W PSU:
http://
Zalman Z11 Plus case:
http://

I know it's quite a lot to ask about, but I'd really appreciate the help since this is my very first build and I don't know whether it'll work out or not.
Oh also, if anyone sees any glaring compatibility issues, please let me know.

All help greatly appreciated. ;)

EDIT: Not looking to overclock much, at least not at first, but I might add another Video card later on. Also, I'm trying to make this rig rather future proof and keeping it at about the price that it is.

Seems pretty good to me, but drop the i7 to an i5 4670k as games don't take advantage of hyper threading. That's all the advice I could really give you as I am still learning computers and such. :)

Good suggestion, but to go for the i5 4670k, you will have to change the whole mobo as the the haswell uses different pins and is Z87. Overall this build looks pretty good
