The title is misleading, I know I should use one during the building process, that or touching the case, I just wanted to know if I needed to wear an antistatic wrist strap when handling the PSU and its cables. I'm assuming not, I just need to know as in going to sleeve my cables soon, and I wanted to be sure lest I destroy something critical. Thanks!

Hello Nigh,

I have handled my PSU without an anti-static strap on before, But that doesn't mean you shouldn't wear one. In my opinion, I see no reason as to why you should wear one. If you want to be REALLY safe then go ahead.

Yeah I don't plan on touching the PSU if at all possible, I just want the cable to sleeve them. If the PSU is in any sort of bag I'll just play it safe and leave it there.
