78701/7850 crossfire question need help!!!

hi all! i have been trying to find info on this but have found nothing! i currently have a 675w psu and want to crossfire one 7870 with one 7850, i tried thermaltakes psu calculator and it says i have enough but i'm not totally sure. also, is it stupid to do this? i just want to be able to crossfire without having to buy a new psu, the psu is a thermaltake touphpower xt. thanks for your time!

  1. You should be fine, that PSU is Crossfire certified and both cards recommend a 600 watt PSU for Crossfire, so you have a little headroom.

    ok cool, i think i like this choice better than buying just one new card, unless the new amd stuff is somewhat cheap!
