I installed my new GTX 660 to upgrade up from the 5770 in CF I was using for a few years now. At first, it worked remarkably. A terrific upgrade in both hardware and drivers. But, after a day of use, the fps in all games were being limited to 60. I had limited my fps in Counter Strike GO, as I usually do just out of habit...and it didn't go back up. I didn't mind, but it's the same in every game and even in the benchmarks. I know it's not a huge deal, 60 is a good fps. But I have this graphics card and it's benchmarking lower than a single 5770. Any idea of what I should do or where the problem is? I don't want to redownload and reinstall the drivers if it won't fix the issue.

Turn off VSync in the Nvidia Control Panel.

I did that right away and all but one benchmark was working properly. I had to do some digging before I found out why the PassMark DX9 simple test was limited to 60...it was a preference setting limiting refresh rate to v-sync only it wasn't worded with v-sync. Thanks for the help

Also be aware that some games force VSync, even when they have a setting to turn it off. For Fallout New Vegas, I had to go into the .ini file to turn it off.
