I just recently installed three extra fans in my case. My case is the NZXT Source 210 White and inside I have two top exhaust fans, one rear exhaust fan along with one side intake fan, one front intake fan, and one bottom intake fan. My intake fans are Cougar CF-v12hpbs and the 2 top exhaust fans are Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-15s. My cpu is hooked up to a Corsair H55 push/pull setup on the rear slot.

My graphics card is the Gigabyte 7870ghz OC 2gb edition and CPU is I7-970 oc to 4.0ghz. My graphics card is slightly overclocked to 1200/1450 on stock voltages of 1.219v. Even if I revert the oc back to the factory default oc the temperatures barely drop by more than 2-3c at most. The ambient temperature in my room is also only around 22c. After installing the new fans I tested my temperatures using valley benchmark and prime 95. My gpu temp was 68c max in valley and before the fans it was roughly 69-70c. Meanwhile, my cpu temp dropped dramatically from 75c load to 66c max in prime 95. I know 68c isn't really a lot but most other GB 7870 users I read about usually only see 62c or lower under heavy load. I figured adding the new fans would have helped but unfortunately that was not the case. Any insight to my having done something wrong or such?

it's a factory O.C ed version and u get temps based on the manufacturer's cooling system, installing fans helps in more airflow and it resulted in good cooling for the cpu and the gpu as slight as 2C,try under clocking ur cpu a little bit and then notice the temps of ur gpu...although 68C for 7870 O.C ed ver. is normal
