Hi guys
I'm on a low budget right now
i cant afford a decent system yet so my question is
Should I get a good CPU first ( i5 3770k ) and save up for a sapphire 7950
Or a balanced system i5 3470 with a sapphire 7770
Will use this system for gaming, a little video editing

Thanks :)

If you get a Radeon 7870, you can OC it to the same performance level as a 7950 I believe.

A 7870 XT is also a little better than the standard version. The K CPU is only for if you wish to OC

and by the sound of it, you don't have the cash for that; you need an aftermarket CPU cooler, a decent

case and a sufficient PSU. A GTX card will aid in video editing, via OpenCL and CUDA. A Radeon card only

has OpenCL to rely on.

That's very decent.

I don't know if you need peripherals like keyboards or such though.

Or even what games you intend to play. But that system is very decent.

No optical drive though. But if the GPU lowered to a GTX 650 Ti, then there's

more room. You even get the newest generation CPU (4th generation called Haswell).

While you picked 3rd generation ones called Ivy Bridge.

That GPU is still good and the motherboard supports CF, if you want to do that later.

You can add an optical drive if you wish. Eitherway, quite a decent system.
