Hey guys I'm REALLY new to building my own pc. I'm not sure what PSU wattage my system would require. Here's my proposed build:

Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 Motherboard

Graphics card: EXDISPLAY Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 2GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Graphics Card

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
RAM: Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600MHz XMS3 Memory)

Power supply: X-Power 700W PSU (any similarly priced, better and reliable suggestions would be highly appreciated I want to keep the price of the power supply around £40 or lower). I'm not sure if I really need a 700W supply.

Samsung SH-224BB SATA DVD Write Optical Drive

Case: CiT Vantage Gaming Case Black HD Audio Black Interior 4 Fans Card Reader No PSU

Hard drive: WD 1TB Green Desktop Drive (not 100% sure)

As stated I want to keep the cost of the power supply below £40 but I want it to be reliable and also compatible with my system of course. Here's another power supply I was considering: Powercool 650W 80plus Certified Efficiency PSU - 4x SATA 2x PCI-E.

Thanks

Hi. The one thing you don't want to do is skimp on the PSU. If you use a cheap PSU and it should go, it can and will take out your Motherboard and other components. The PSU is a very critical aspect of the build and not the place to be juggling a budget. If anything, cut your Video card back to a GTX 5xx ( 560Ti is good ) and give yourself a little more for the PSU.
