Hey Guys,
So from what I can gather, the Vishera chips are the ones I should be looking at, but either I'm not looking in the right place or well enough, but I find lots of conflicting information. I know enough to get myself in trouble however I'm not even sure that the Mo/Bo can handle the voltage requirements of Vishera...

My system

945 Phoenom II
8gb ripjaw 1600
MSI 890FXA-GD65
XFX 6870 Raedeon

I will probably upgrade the whole system in another 6 months or so (basically build a brand new one) however I'm looking for a boost now.
I play games for the most part, but I do dabble in some Video editing and recording/streaming while playing

Once I do build my new system, would it be better to get a single new GPU or crossfire my 6870? I know the X870's have traditionally always been very strong cards, (i.e. 3870, 5870)

This hardware looks good to me.

I would recommend a SSD if you currently do not have one. That will most certainly bring the best performance boost.

I run 2 SSD's actually, one for windows exclusively, one for Games exclusively and then a terabite drive for storage.
I guess I'll wait for steamroller to steamroll into our lives

Thank you guys
