Hello everyone,

Today I want to upgrade some vital parts of my gaming computer to increase performance. I bought my computer pre-built from Walmart and here are my

current specs:
Motherboard: ASRock N68-VS3 FX
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor
Ram: 8GB
GPU: Radeon HD 6670
HDD: 1TB
Power Supply: AZZA Alpha 700W
Case: NZXT Guardian 921 RB Gaming Case

The parts I was planning on upgrading were the GPU, Motherboard and CPU. I am going to list the specific parts that I think would be a great upgrade, please give me your guys thoughts and please tell me if there any problems with the parts
together.

For the GPU I am planning on buying a Gigabyte GTX 660 2Gb.
For the CPU I need some help deciding between the AMD FX-8350 or AMD FX-8120. It would be great to give me any suggestions and CPUs and which ones to buy, must be AMD and preferably around $150 and great for gaming.
For the motherboard I am planning on getting the ASRock MB-990EX4. Please inform me if there is any components that are not compatible in any way and give
me your guys opinions. Thanks!

CPU: If it's AMD you want, then go with the 8350. However, the new CPU's from AMD are coming, but they look to be quite expensive and a while away.

GPU: A 660 2GB is good. I personally like EVGA, but that's up to you. If you budget allows, try and get the new 700 series from NVIDIA.

PSU: You will probably have to up the wattage because you are adding better parts.

Case: Depending on what case you have, you may want to get a bigger case to allow more airflow and/or better cable management.

The 8350 over the 8120 for sure. The Vishera is a improvement of the Bulldozer. I'm not familiar with the quality (or lack of) of the Azza line of PSU's. But if your PSU's nameplate has a +12V rail(s) in the 40A or better range, you should be fine with the bigger card. The MB is a decent choice.
