For gaming, an i7 and 16 gigs of ram is unnecessary.

I know you said "multitasking" but you only need 8 gigs of ram. 2-4 for gaming, with a reserve 4-6 for background tasks.
As far as the i7, the only difference between it and an i5 is hyper-threading. Games do nothing with it so you wont see a performance increase between a 5 and 7.

You seem on the fence about overclocking. You kind on need to decide. The set up you have now can/will OC because of the k chip you selected (but increases the cost)

i dont no if 16gb of ram is too much. i will use the pc for gaming but i will use it also to run 30 tables of poker and holdem manager 2 and table ninja. the Optimal System Requirements are :
CPU: Intel Core i5 or i7 multi-core 64-bit processor
RAM: 8+ GB
so i though with 16 gb i would destroy!

what do you think?

Lol, I have no idea. Most people say, "I want to game and have multiple Chrome browsers in the background"

30 poker tables... wtf?

i play poker at pokerstars and i run 30 tables at the same time and i need to use at least the holdem manager 2(HM2) to have information on my oponnents. with my actual pc i cannot run the HM2 witch is necessary to gain an edge on others.

and what about this note:" Asus Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports." from pcpartpicker ? is this true? will i have to change the case?
