Framerate isssues with GTX 770 and 1090T

Hi all,

I recently built a PC with a AMD Phenom II 1090T and a GTX 770. Also, 8GB DDR Crucial/Ballistix RAM.

I'm having major framerate problems, noticeably in Borderlands 2. I haven't tried many other games or done any benchmarks/tests - but my question is basically: Am I getting a bottleneck with this combination? Does anyone have any experience with this? I searched for a bit but was unable to find a solution.

I think I heard Borderlands was CPU bound... Hm. But I can't remember exactly.
