Hi. I am looking to improve an 4 year old home built HTPC for general home use with a good bit of PhotoShop use too. Along with a new SSD and RAM, I am looking to add a new graphics card. The hitch is that my motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-E7AUM-DS2H LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce 9400 HDMI Micro ATX. This board is small and has an onboard SLI-ready graphics processor. So there are two issues that I need help with:

A full size card does not fit because it covers the SATA connectors (an right angle connectors do not help, unfortunately).

I would like the new card to take advance of the SLI capabilities of the on board GPU, unless its too out of date to be useful and a single new card is better.

Is there a card that you could recommend?

Additional info:
400 W Power (Corsair)
4X 2GB DDR2 800MHz
Intel Core Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0Ghz.

Thanks.

Clutchc- Thanks for the recommendation. And I was referring to the hybrid SLI, as you noted. I have to admit that I didn't know what the 'hybrid' meant or how it worked. I happy to hear that I can forget about it. I' check out the 6" card you recommended. The size is perfect. - DrB.
