I was just about to get another 670 for SLI when I found that the 700 series had already released. I think now that if I can sell my 670 at a good price it would be worthwhile going 770 sli instead as they are around $400 each on amazon (I would have to factor in shipping and currency conversion as well however)

I have a MSI 670 PE and I would probably be able to sell it for around $370 on ebay au - yesterday I was watching one that I thought I could get at $300 when, at the last minute, went up to $385.

What do you reckon?

What's the point?

You've got a top-notch GPU as it is and the GTX 770 uses the same GK 104 GPU

as the GTX 680, if not the GTX 670 too. Furthermore people generally agree that the

GTX 670 already has a lot of the GTX 680s performance as well; while being cheaper.

Then there's the fact that it's not much of an upgrade:

- GTX 670

- GTX 680

- GTX 690 (disregard)

- GTX Titan (disregard)

- GTX 760 (Not available yet to my knowledge)

- GTX 770

- GTX 780

So to me, that's not a worthwhile leap and while GTX 770 seems to scale pretty alright in SLI,

SLI isn't a state you'd normally want; if you can get by on a single-GPU solution. You can find benchmarks

on GTX 670: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_670_SLI/27.html

Even though I don't know which games you play or intend on playing.

So the bottom line really is, if you NEED the performance now, then sure, go for it. But in reality, you'd

probably be best off either SLI'ing your GTX 670 or waiting for the 8000 series, which should perhaps be

due either later this year or next year (probably next).
