I've recently got a hand on some parts. now cant decide on PSU for this. i prefer modular ones because of its reliability/cosmetics (wire management). Is 750watts overkill or 600 would suffice. difference in $100 is alot for a psu. =/

i already got this.

GTX 660 windforce gigabyte OC non ti
i5 3570k
Gigabyte MOBO UD3H
DDR3 8gig G.Skill 1600 (PC3 12800)
Hyper Evo 212
18.5 LED monitor
128SSD - To be decided
1tb HDD - to be decided

PSU - ?? thanks a bunch guys.

I would recommend a PSU by Corsair. They make pretty good PSU's.

Hiii
1. You will need 550w PSU. It is enough for your rig, if you are using single GPU like gtx 660. You can go with corsair, sesonic or xfx PSUs for best performance and long life.
2. If you may sli in future with this card then you will need 650w PSU. It is enough for sli with gtx 660. Go with same brands which I listed.
3. SSD- go with Samsung 840 or 840pro series's or Intel 530 series's for best performance , stability and reliability. These SSDs are faster than others and better quality.
4. HDD- you can go with WD cavier black or segate bracuda. These two are really good HDDs.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.

No problem my friend. It's our pleasure.
And I agree with you there are lot of brands of SSDs and PSUs. But choose best for performance. Specially PSU, because it is main part of ur pc. If it fail your whole pc can destroy. So go with best like I said corsair, sesonic or xfx PSUs.
Thank you.
