Hello everyone. Im building a pc with a $3000 SGD budget here are the parts i have chosen so far.
Processor + Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z87 + i7 4770K
Graphics : GTX 770 x2
Ram: G.Skill RipJawsx C9 (8gb x 2) 1600mHz
Memory: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB Sata 6gb/s
Corsair Neutron GTX SSD 120Gb
Cooling : Antec Kuhler 920 CPU Cooler
PSY : Corsair AX 860W Modular 80+ Platinum
Drivebay:
Sound Card: Creative SB Audigy 7.1 Surround Sound Card
Wifi: TP-Link WDN 4800 PCI-E Wifi Card
Case: Nzxt Phantom 820
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

I have calculated that my whole build without the graphics card is about 2.2k sgd does anybody have any suggestions on how to lower the price without giving up much performance? I still want to buy gtx770 x2

You can definitely do better than that for $3K. Lose the sound card and the Sabertooth. The Corsair Neutron is a decent choice but there's far better SSDs out there. You don't need 16GB of RAM or the i7 for a gaming rig.

Try this:

- Dropped the sound card
- Less expensive motherboard with no thermal armor
- Better SSD
- Better liquid cooler
- Dual 780s
- Better power supply

Add whatever monitor and OS you want and you're good to go.
