Hello, I'm looking to upgrade a new computer that specifies my needs, but I need help deciding which graphic card to buy.
The graphic cards I'm looking to get are either the Titan, 780, or 690, but here's some things you might need to know before helping me which one suits me best:

- The games I play are the games that are announced at E3, like Battlefield, Far Cry, Crysis, etc. So basically high def. games. I also like to play at a constant 50-60+ fps.
- I only play on ONE screen. Screen resolution I play on is 1980x1080, and I don't think I will go higher or lower.
- I have never used SLI, and I don't I would ever, so I only like to use one graphic card.
- I care a lot about the performance, so I want more frames :p

If there is anything else you need to know, let me know...

thanks :)

gtx 780 for sure. slighty lower performance than the titan but 100's of dollars cheaper. and you wont even notice the difference between titan and 780 because both of those cards are more than enough for single monitor 1080p gaming. 690 is a no no for me because its just 2 680's on 1 pcb. i heard they have issues that are similiar to the issues you get when you go SLI with 2 seperate cards.

i vote you get the 780 :D

+1 to everything said here! GTX690 is effectively two cards so you'd be running on SLI on one board. That's no better than two separate cards. GTX Titan is only a fraction faster than GTX780 but far more expensive.

Go for the 780.
Its too close in performance to the Titan and 690 to justify spending the extra, and the 6GB of VRAM on the Titan just isnt going to be any use during the effective life of the card (and dont be fooled by the 690's 4GB, its really 2GB).

CPU might be a i7 3770k, or maybe higher if you can recommend one.

The Titan vs 780 comparison is much like the i7-3960X vs i7-3930K. Essentially the same performance but one is far cheaper and close to the same performance.

Yeah owning a Titan has a nice ring to it but financially you'll be shooting yourself in the foot compared to a 780.

Here's the numbers according to this site ....

Considering there is one area of performance a piece which they pip each other in ....... is that worth the extra £300??

Hell no.

Get 690, I own one and I watercooled it and it's amazing. It's way more powerful than anything that is out there, meaning Titan and 780. Plus who gives a rats ass about power consumption?

You should read more reviews, comparisons and weigh your decision.

I would not buy any of them.. Just check the reviews of the R9 290x and I guess you may change your mind too.. It's a beast at $450 cheaper than the GTX Titan and way faster..

How about you read the title before going off topic. Plus you are engaging in a tomboy fan war. As if you don't know how ati and nvidia users are.
