Hey guys

I currently have 2 OC 7850's ( from gigabyte)in crossfire. Im looking for a little more gaming performance and such for upcoming games. I also currently run a 2500k and asrock z77 extreme6, which im upgrading to asus rog maximus vi formula and will buy a 4670k as a placeholder until i get the broadwell equivalent of the 4770k (5770k?). Im thinking about a asus gtx 780 when the direct cu ii comes out. or should i get like 760s and sli? or should i get the 7970 matrix or other ghz edition of it. just looking for advice. i would prefer nvidia, however if the 7970 is the best option then im not opposed

if any of that makes sense...

thanks in advance for any help i get

i will be happy to provide any other specs

Broadwell has been cancelled by Intel. They instead will be releasing a new stepping of Haswell then going straight to Skylake and 14nm. As for a replacement. 760's are nice for the money and will trounce all over a 780

From the slide i've seen. Z99 will be coming along with a "Haswell Refresh". What that means is another stepping of the current processors.

760 SLI is within a few FPS of the 690 so i would easily go that route instead of a single 780
