I am a photographer and am looking for a high res large monitor. I have been looking at a 1920x1080 monitor that is 27" made by Asus.

I was wondering if the pixel density of 81ppi is far too low for photographic applications or not. If it is I will opt for a 24" 1920x1200 monitor also made by Asus.

If you have any monitor suggestion those are also welcome (my budget is $300 and it must have IPS

Thank you so much!

Actually found some 2560 x 1440p monitors for around 300. But couldn't verify the brand.

ASUS and BenQ especially, would be good for your needs.

Pretty nice; even if I prefer a higher resolution at that size.
