Hey guys, thanks for taking a look. I figure I'll go with the standard request form for a new build:

--------------------------

Approximate Purchase Date: 1-2 weeks

Budget Range: $1250-1500 (USD)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, miscellaneous uses

Are you buying a monitor: Yes (best possible)

Parts to Upgrade: Everything, brand new system

Do you need to buy OS: Yes (Windows 8?)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg

Location: Alaska

Parts Preferences: Intel/Nvidia (but I'll consider AMD if it's a good deal)

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: Yes

Your Monitor Resolution: Best possible and practical with this system?

Additional Comments: Probably looking at 8 gb ram, i7 processor, 1 TB harddrive, SLI gfx cards, etc. Not really sure what I want for a case, but I definitely want a really nice one! Oh, and I want a nice gaming keyboard, if you could please give recommendations! I already have a nice mouse. =)

--------------------------

Thanks so much guys, I really appreciate it.

Oh, also, I'd consider liquid cooling, but it's totally new to me...I've heard it's the best, but is it safe and practical?

Good question. When I built my first gaming PC a few years ago, it was suggested as having the best FPS for the price range? Maybe that has changed? I just know that I really like a lot of graphical power and good FPS is important to me. But if one good card will beat two, I'd consider that option for sure. Not deadest on it at all. Thanks! =)

Never mind, after consideration, I think that Intel build is far superior. The only thing I'm going to alter, is that I'm going to up my budget and do a custom water cooling system.
