Download system rescue cd from: http://sysresccd.org/
If Win7, Right click the .ISO and select "Burn Image To Disk"
If XP, download ImgBurn and burn the .ISO file with ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
If no blank CDs are available; "Burn" to USB / media card with Linux Live! USB Creator: http://www.linuxliveusb.com/en/download
Reboot the computer with the disk in the drive. The computer should boot into the System Rescue CD Live Enviornment.
Run "testdisk" to attempt to repair the disk.
If the disk is irreparable; run "PhotoRec" to recover the data.
