Age of empires II

When i try to play age of empires II age of kings it reads but then it doesn't play the game it just play music of the game.

some old games uses Indeo Video or other old Codecs to play the videos, so when the game ''calls'' the video it try to load the codec if fail, will play only the music, try to pres esc enter or space (or wait till the video ends) to see if the game menu appears

or try to run in safe mode (microsoft games have this option)

same problem here with SLRR
