So I have decided to buy a new graphics card for my birthday (August). I was leaning towards the 780, but decided after researching, to go with a 770. However, after even more researching, I am torn between a 760 SLI or a 770. I heard the ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5 GeForce GTX 770 is good but only has 2gb Vram, and I am getting 2 23" Monitors. Would that Vram be enough? Or should I go for the 4gb Vram Gigabyte version? I am looking to SLI the 770 later on like next year or so, and from the feedback, the card is power hungry so it may not agree with my 750W Corsair 80+ Gold. Post your thoughts on what I should do, help is much appreciated. If you don't feel you have enough time to post, just vote on which one you think I should get. :)

Well as for the psu, that will handle one gpu fine, but might struggle with 2. As for the memory amount 2 GB ddr5 is a decent amount right now, when you are doing research be warry that ddr3 and ddr5 are different. 1gb ddr5 is better than 2 gb ddr3.

Yes, I know that, but I also want this GPU to be a little future proof, so if I do SLI, 4 GB vram will last me how long?

Cool, thanks :) Will my power supply be able to have another 770? And will 2gb ddr5 last me a year until I get another asus?
Thanks, Mr_Cactus.

2 gb ddr5 will last another year just fine. As for the psu it should work, both cards add up to around 560 watts of usage so you can add your processor to that and see how much you will need. Depending on that you may have to get a new psu, but thats only if your cpu draws over 100 watts.

My 3570k will do just fine reeling in at 77 watts! Thanks a lot :)
