Is the GB in GPU what makes it better for multi monitor?

So for my new build I plan on using two 23" monitors, and am wondering if the Radeon HD 7970 3GB or the GeForce GTX 770 4GB would do better with two monitors...

Basically, is it the Gigabytes in graphic cards that make them work better with two monitors? which in this case the 770 would work better?

More about gpu makes multi monitor
  1. your fine either way. memory or GB come into play more as you move into the 1600 and 1440 resolutions.
  2. So If I got the 770 2GB edition instead it would perform roughly the same as the 7970 3GB because im only using 1080p?
