Desperate need in help of a gaming wiz

Well my name is preston and I want a gaming rig because right now my hp p6212f lags on warrocks lowest settings,I know for a good rig you need 800+ bucks well Im only about 300-400 max and I know thats low,but I figured I could buy a used rig and just add intel as I go if it wears out.Well I found a pc on craigslist it seems nice but I'm no computer wiz kid, it was 500$ but I talked the guy down to 300$ is it worth it?Here is the pc specs and the link

Motherboard: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
Ram: 12 GB 1366 Mhz DDR3
PSU: Lazer 1000 watt

HDD: 80GB SATA III

and if it is good what should I look for in the system when I go to test it out.

What an i7 and gts 250 for gaming . Its not worth it . You cant even play bf3 properly even on mid settings with that graphics card . But i have good idea. Since you managed the price from 500 to 300 . As soon as you get it .Sell the gts 250 and purchase a gtx 660 or hd 7870. Then you would get a mindblowing performnace with that i7 processor

Ok and so you don't think its a good computer and I play warrock would it be a beasty computer if I got a new graphics card or no? I mean I'm getting the whole rig for 300$

Get the 300$ one. The only thing you have to do really is take out the 2 250s and sell them. Then just buy a new gpu like the nvidia 500-600 series. That's a freaking good deal for 300 imo.

You might need to get a bigger hard drive also.

Buy it, sell the 2 GTS, get a bigger hdd, and a new graphics card. That would be your only route if you want a better rig.

the main thing you are considering is processor. You need to give priority to gpu if you are going to game.
