Hi!
My first built ever, i got my hands on the Zotac GTX770, here is my specs.

AMD FX-6100 @ 4.3Ghz with Coolermaster Evo
Corsair 8GB Vengeance @ 1866Mhz
Corsair CX600 PSU
Gigabyte Ga-970A-D3 rev 1.4
120 GB SSD

My question is simple, is my Cpu+Mobo a bad choice? How much of a bottle neck am i looking? I heard the GTX770 is a pretty nice card to run games at 1080p, i also have a dual monitor set-up. I hope any one can tell me if this is a disaster...

Oh shit... too bad i spent all my money on the card itself... but any rough idea how many frames im looking as a drop ? any example would be good.. like crisis 3 or what ever games now days...

Get the 8320 if you want to save money, it performs almost the same as the 8350 when overclocked. At stock speeds too it would be enough.

And for the motherboard, if you are not going to overclock get the MSI 970A G43 it is also cheap for non overclocking builds. But if you want to overclock then go for better motherboard and a better fan.

At the end of the day for the price i would recommend getting you 8320 + MSI 970A G43 motherboard as it gives good performance at good enough price, and it would not bottleneck the 770

Zik do you have the 770 already? If so play a game and then take a screenshot of the GPU usage in MSI afterburner.

Yes sir i do ! I'm just waiting for my Coolermaster Evo 212 so i can overclock it to 4.3Ghz. My friend has the same chip and he was able to hit 4.45 Ghz stable. I will be posting the snaps in a week.

okay ! I have a stable system running at 4.5Ghz on the Fx-6100. I had to upgrade my tower to Rosewill Thor V2. My Cpu stays around 59~63 under max Load in games like Crysis and Battlefield 3. And i can see my GPU is 100% with MSI Burner and my Cpu is running 80% with the task manager. Is this OKAY ?

P.S. I tried to see how my cpu temp reacts with IntelBurnTest and Prime95, either my system crashes or freezes. Should i be bothered ?

And oh, my GPU is running at MAX 80C under max load too.....

As long as GPU isn't less than 100% then you aren't bottlenecking.

Your overclock isn't stable but as long as you can run non-power virus loads without any problem it should be fine. In the long run I would recommend you dial back the OC a little until you can pass IBT or Prime.
