hey guys im building a gaming rig for the first time and my budget is around $2000-$2500. along with normal usage ( web, d/ling music ,streaming movies, etc.) i want to run games like FFXI, FFXIV, Crysis 3...on ultra or very high settings. i have been doing alot of research online and reading forums on different parts and i also went into my local Micro center ( they seem to have awsome prices and bundle deals) this is where i currently stand. this was compiled with a rep at micro center.

- intel i7-4770k ( would like to OC to atleast 4.5 ) - $279.99
- Asus Maximus VI Hero 1150 ( also considered Asus z87 pro and Z87 Sabertooth ) - $209.99
- EVGA GTX780 SC ( was thinking bout 2x SLI worth it? - $669.99 ea.
- Corsair 16gb 2x8 1600 D3 ( do i need 2400?) - $129.99
- Corsair Hydro H100i Liquid cooler - $109.99
- Corsair 600T MT Case with Mesh side (wasnt crazzy bout the case) - $160
- Corsair AX1200I Digital ATX PSU (overkill?) - $319.99
- Samsung E 256gb SSD 840 Pro2 - $239.999
- WD 1TB 3.5INT SATA 7200 BLK - $84.99
- Windows 7 Pro 64bit SP1 - $139.99

well there it is and i still need a really good Monitor im guesing thats not gona be cheap please give me suggestions on where i can cut corners, where i can improve, etc. thank you in advance

Gtx 780 sli has bad p/p
Better get gtx 770 sli. ( look up benchmarks, difference isnt huge)
I5-4670k would be enough
2x4gb memory would be enough
Windows home is enough

Newegg bundle(cpu+mobo) gives you 80-100$ off

hey thanx for input im gonna look into the bench marks on those GPUs i did think the 780s were a bit pricy but my main concern was i wanted to OC the cpu to like 4.5 and be stable so the guy at MC said the hero board is better for OCing and i would need a serious cooler
