Is it worth upgrading to the Samsung 840 Pro?

I currently have a OCZ Agility 4 (SATA III). I mostly play games and use programs like Autodesk Inventor and Revit. I'm wondering how much real-world performance increase I would get if I upgraded to the Samsung 840. Also, would the 840 pro be worth it? It's $60 more on newegg ($190 vs. $250).
