Hello World!
Well, I have been putting together a gaming-desktop-build-contraption-thing of sorts online for a while and I think I have it about done. What I want to do now is ask if it looks alright, if not, some suggestions would be much appreciated.
Here goes:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 -- $230
CPU Cooler: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler -- $32 after rebate
Motherboard (and RAM): ASRock Intel Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX -- $135
HDD: Seagate Constellation ES.3 1TB 7200 RPM 128MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Enterprise Internal Hard Drive -- $115
SSD: SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC -- $150
GPU: PowerColor Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express -- $240
Power Supply: COOLER MASTER Silent Pro Gold Series 800W ATX 12V -- $125 after rebate
Case: COOLER MASTER HAF 922 ATX Mid Tower -- $70 after coupon/rebate
An optical drive is not necessary and the keyboard/mouse/monitor situation is sorted.
So what d'ya think? Has it already gone to hell, lost forever or is there hope? Somewhere in between perhaps?
Well, that's all folks!
Thanks!
