Upgrading GPU, will it bottleneck?

I have a X4 965BE @ 3.4ghz. Would a GTX 660 work with that CPU setup without bottlenecking the hell out of it?

Your cpu might bottleneck the gpu slightly in games like bf3 multiplayer....You can overclock the cpu further to elevate the bottleneck or upgrade to piledriver cpu...

there will be some bottleneck but it can be removed by overclocking ur cpu to around 4 ghz

What about upgrading to a mid-range FX chip if you have an AM3+ mobo? That wouldn't require any new parts besides the processor itself.

If you decide to overclock your BE, you may want to invest in an aftermarket heatsink. Your stock heatsink might not be good enough.

thanks guys for the help. This thread just made me come to the conclusion that I should just stick with my overheating 5770hd until I can get together enough money to build an entire new PC and not have to worry about upgrading one piece at a time. Then I won't have to deal with my slow hard drive and ram.
