Hi everybody in the community!

As GTX 760 is out and as i understand it is 10-20% faster than GTX 600 witch i own i have an upgrade question :)

Basically at some point i sell my old card and buy a new one, so this time i should sell my MSI GTX 660 TF/OC (it is still on warranty and if a was very lucky i could get maybe 170$ - i am not in USA so prices could scare USA residents :)) ) keep the money and would buy GTX760 for smth. like 350$. Or i could get another brand new GTX 660 for about 245$ and go SLI :)

What i want from my setup is descent performance of future coming BF4 as now i mostly play BF3, definatly nobody knows what specs. BF4 will run, but i believe GTX660 will be little bit too slow, and GTX760 will run as GTX660 in BF3. What i need now is BF3 descent performance at 1920*1080, it is more or less OK now with my GTX 660, but settings is not all maxed out.

CPU is i5-2500K @ 3,9 GHz, 8GB RAM. One bad thing i have CoolerMaster 560W PSU, but i was counting that it should be enough for 2 X GTX660.

So what would You recommend? Maybe i just should wait for GTX760 price drop and get a nice running single card, or maybe 660 will drop and i definitely should go SLI :) Or just sit and wait for BF4 to come and see the real life performance? Or any other ideas based on situation?

Thanks in advance!

I would suggest you to go with the 660 SLI option. The 660 SLI is much faster than a gtx 760 and almost on par with a gtx 780. Moreover getting a single 660 will cost you much less than getting a gtx 760. So go ahad and get the Gtx 660 for SLI

i suggest u to wait for the game to b released.... gtx 660 is of course a great 1 and don't make haste and spend some pennys for an another 1.........watch the performence and if u think that it just cant get enough den go for sli.... till den enjoy ur gtx 660 and may b u'll see the price of 660 will b dropped at some level...

Well there is definitely some point in waiting. One thing i'am afraid of there wont' be any new GTX660 out there to buy if there will be not enough performance and i really couldn't afford 2 x GTX760 and will need to go for one of it :)

That is what I am trying to say. You may not need the extra gtx 660 now but it may come in handy a year down the road. And then it would be difficult to find a gtx 660 in retail. So going with a 660 sli now will be a lot faster and a lot cheaper option then having to buy a new card altogether.

u can go for hd 7970... its also a good 1....and okay if u are afraid of dat den go for the sli.... but bf4 is a forthcoming game and coming soon..... hope it will be launched in 5-6 months... and as gtx 660 being a popular series and getting upgrades it will not be distinguised dat quickly from the market..

7970 should be way behind GTX660 in SLI, in BF3 it is waaay behind GTX770 and 660s in sli should be somwhere near GTX770 :) Also the price is way too high.

I think i'll monitor retailers for GTX660 prices and stock and if it will go down will get one...

The gtx 660 SLI are in fact quite a bit faster than the gtx 770 so have no doubts in your mind and surely get the gtx 660 SLI.
