Hotmail Account Disappeared!!!

Does anyone have knowledge on how to recover a Hotmail account? I went into it one day and 2 days later it was wiped and introduced me to Outlook.com....Where's my Hotmail account and all it's content????? Any advice would be greatly appreciated....Thanks in advance.....No, my account has not been hacked...it's just gone.

i dont have a HM account anymore but it looks like they just renamed it and perhaps reskinned it.

Your stuff should be there even if the name of the service was changed, unless they sent you warnings to back things up as they were doing a wipe. Contact their support staff.
