It would be best to not connect your computer to the tv directly from you motherboard, this is often slow because of high resolutions on onboard graphics, your best bet is to get a cheaper graphics card you can use on any motherboard, you will get a performance boost, better quality, and more compatibility. practically any graphics card will be better than onboard graphics so you can get a very cheap graphics card, for example http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=77495&vpn=ONXFX1PLS2&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1316 this graphics card is only $20 after rebate and will give you better quality, and an hdmi port for any motherboard.

http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=71731&vpn=61TGS4HX2LTX&manufacture=Galaxy%20Technology&promoid=1233 this card is on sale and is a very very good value at this price and i would highly suggest this.

Most motherboards support a HDMI output, you would have to have a fairly old or low end board not too have one.
If your mobo doesnt, your best off just buying a cheap graphics card to get the display output rather than replacing the mobo.

Is your rig a pre-built (So from a HP, Dell, Best Buy type company) or is it custom? If it is a prebuilt, could you link to it?
Just there could be issues with form factor sizes.
