Im looking to build a gaming PC to play Battlefield 3 and 4. Should I go for the EVGA 760 superclocked for 259.99 or the Sapphire HD 7970 for 369.99? Is there any other card that would get better performance for a lower price.

Thanks!
Thomas

EDIT: I am playing at 1080p, looking for around 60 FPS on ultra or high

Better performance than the 760 for less money? Not if you want a brand new card.

The GTX 7970 is a good card as well. Whether it's going to give you $110 more performance though... that's for you to decide. Though I don't think so. Not with BF3 anyhow.

What resolution are you playing at? That's important.

GTX 760 = 56FPS @ 1080p with BF3
7970 = 58FPS @ 1080p with BF3.

The 7970 is better but not $110 better.

both card does not perform on the same level hence the price different. if you want faster performer get the expensive one. 670 perform around 7970 performance but 7970 will pull ahead if you can get decent overclock from it

7970 Is like 7% faster then the 760. 7970 needs a price drop

Wow it was that close? I thought 760 was nearing 7950 performamce. Need to look at the benchmark again to correct my fact :p
