Hi guys,

These are my planned components of my first build (Switching over from Apple back to PC! - Better value for money!)

I've included the selling price of the items here in the UAE...Very similar to newegg.

So here they are:

PSU :
COOLERMASTER 700W PFCV2.3 B SERIES, 12CM FAN 80PLUS (367AED)

(2) Fractal Design Silent Series 80mm R2 (34AED)
(3) Fractal Design Silent Series 92mm R2 (34AED)
(4) Fractal Design Silent Series 92mm R2 (34AED)
(5) Fractal Design Silent Series 120mm R2 (41AED)
Total = 143AED

HDD:
1TB Seagate SV35.5 Series 64MB cache SataIII 7200RPM (316AED)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148912

Total: 4939AED // USD1344.68 (xe.com/ucc)
________________

Those are all the items.

My questions to all the experienced people out there;

(1) Would you change or add anything to this build?
(2) Is this a good value for money build?
(3) What other bits and pieces would I need? (Sata cables, power cables etc)

Side Notes:
(1) I am not looking for flashy lights and fish tanks inside the case, i dont mind a simple case/parts to cut down the costs in every corner but maximise the performance. Essentially, I do not mind about the aesthetics, more so the value of the performance.

(2) My primary use for this machine will be to edit video in programs such as Premiere, Final cut etc.

(3) I am currently rocking a 2010 MacbookPro 15 Inch with a 2.66 i7 dual-core, 500GB @ 7200rpm, Nvidia 330m 512mb, 8gb Corsair ram and the matte hi-res screen. Model 6.2. (Under performing at the moment for my projects.

_________

Any help or advice about the whole process is very much appreciated, thanks for your time!

(Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-07-03 18:26 EDT-0400)This has two of the next-gen of your GPU, as well as the same processor. It is about $140 more, but I say that is completely worth it for more than 2x better graphics performance for a). any gaming you ever want to do, and b). any editing program that utilizes the GPUs. :)
