As of today I've started looking into buying a graphics card for my desktop. I'm mainly looking at using it to play minecraft, call of duty, and maybe skyrim. I don't care too much about playing on max settings or anything like that. I just want an enjoyable playing experience on a 1080p display. My max budget is $150 but I would prefer to be around $100-$130 if possible. Also, should I add RAM? If so, should I go up to 6 or 8gb?

My Current Build:

MSI H55-G43 LGA 1156 Intel H55 HDMI ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i3-550 Clarkdale 3.2GHz LGA 1156 73W Dual-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80616I3550

CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX4GX3M2A1600C9

OCZ ZT Series 650W Fully-Modular 80PLUS Bronze High Performance Power Supply compatible with Intel Sandy Bridge Core i3 i5 i7 and AMD Phenom

Running Windows 7 64bit

I would get the EVGA Geforce 650 Ti Boost- http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GTX650Ti-Dual-Link-Graphics-01G-P4-3655-KR/dp/B00CBQNFJE/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1372829285&sr=1-9&keywords=evga+gtx+650

Minecraft: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pioHOfnBJzw
Call of Duty BO2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5J11Il8sosk
Skyrim: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ax9vMW_Azs

Although the gameplay in the video does not portray your system build, you'll expect some of the same performance and yes you should upgrade to either 6 or 8gb ram if you multitask

Wow the performance from that card is pretty impressive. I would definitely like to look at slightly cheaper cards though since I'm going to be adding memory as well. Also, should I just get the same ram to add in or does it really matter? P.S. I added my power supply to my build list. It's only a 650w so I can't get something that's a power hog.

650w is fine for this build, a cheaper graphics card would be the radeon 7770- http://www.amazon.com/XFX-FX777AZNF4-Edition-1000MHz-Graphics/dp/B007A44T42/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1372890325&sr=8-2&keywords=radeon+7770

That's more of what I'm looking for. Thanks. Still looking for an answer to my ram question though.

Okay, so I'm fairly sure that I've decided on a card. It's going to be this one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202029. If you guys see any reason not to get it please let me know. It's the cheapest 7790 I found and it's OCed.

Get it - I am very happy with my Sapphire (7870)
