Rate my build/suggest next upgrade. Pure opinions.

I will list my specs, and I would appreciate your opinions on next upgrades. I recently posted about getting an additional 660ti for SLI, but maybe you guys have another idea for me :)

i7 3930k @ 4.2
Cooler Master H100i
Asus Sabertooth x79 motherboard.
NZXT Phantom Black and Orange Full ATX Case
Seasonic Gold 650w PSU
16gb Corsair Vengeance (should I overclock this?)
Creative Sound Blaster Z 600ohm Sound Card
EVGA 660ti SC
Western Digital 320gb Caviar Blue 7200rpm Hard Drive (please don't cringe)
Sandisk 32gb Readycache SSD

I have three monitors and I'm happy with my monitor solution. My keyboard and mouse are both things I will never give up.

Another 660ti at this point is a must. I plan on keeping my graphics cards in SLI until the "880" comes out. As I will be saving up for an 880 if it ever exists. So I'm skipping this generation of Nvidia architecture.

My hard drive is absolute dirt, I know. I just have been too lazy to invest in something better as I don't really store anything, and I don't normally see a need for HD cache with an SSD cache drive.

Go! :)

  1. Your build is great! but instead of the 660ti i would get the radeon 7950- http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-Graphics-21196-00-20G/dp/B00BXVFM3K/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1372828255&sr=1-2&keywords=radeon+7950

also 16gb ram is a bit much, most modern games only require 4gb

other than that i agree your hdd is crap (lol)

I've already built it, and I've had the 660ti for about 6 months now. The reason I'm getting SLI is because the prices on the 660s have come down, and I can get one for dirt cheap :)

My board supports 64gb. I like having as much as I can even if I don't need it :)

Don't make fun of my hard drive!
