Does having two monitors decrease FPS?

i have a shitty intel core 2 quad 2.8 ghz a asus7770 hd series card and im still playing bf 3 on 50-60 fps im wondering if i put a smal screen too a 720p one and the one i play bf3 on is 1920x1080 how much framedrop am i gonna get cus my pc is worthless right?

Yes, the higher the resolution, the less fps you will get.

If you are talking about adding a second monitor just for more desktop space, you shouldnt see any noticeable drop in FPS unless you are running something on the 2nd screen that uses the GPU. I run 4x 1080p screens from my 7950. I can easily game on one screen while still playing 1080p video on others or having standard applications open.
